Valdés Peninsula with Whale Watching
A one-hour trip takes you to Puerto Pirámides, a charming coastal village where the sea and wildlife take center stage. Here, you can enjoy a traditional whale watching tour (included): from June to November, you'll be thrilled by the presence of the southern right whale; while between December and March, the boat trip allows you to observe sea lions and cormorants.
We continue our journey towards Punta Cantor, where we are struck by the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean and the unique geography of Caleta Valdés, a singular environment where, depending on the season, we can observe elephant seals resting on the shore. Depending on the day and wildlife activity, this visit can be replaced with a visit to Punta Norte. Along the way, we are also accompanied by terrestrial wildlife: guanacos, rheas, foxes, and Patagonian cavies appear in their natural habitat, adding unexpected moments to the experience. Before returning, we visit the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, where we gain a deeper understanding of the richness of this ecosystem.
